ANGA Cable Show 2011 closes with record numbers: 420 exhibitors and more than 16,500 trade visitors

Visitor number increase by 6 % compared to 2010: more than 16,500 trade visitors
ANGA Cable has managed to continue its success story in 2011: Europe’s leading Trade Fair and Congress for Cable, Satellite and Broadband has closed today with yet another record in exhibitor and visitor numbers. For the first time 16,500 trade visitors travelled to Cologne. The number of exhibitors increased to 420 (previous year: 395), floor space was increased by 15 %. 1,600 telecommunications and media experts attended the congress which took place at the same time as the show.
Thomas Braun, President of ANGA Association of German Cable Operators: “The broadband and TV industry is booming and ANGA Cable provides the perfect market place. The ongoing fiber roll-out and the launch of hybrid TV offers in particular have proven to drive innovation.”
Herbert Strobel, Chairman of the Satellite & Cable Trade Association within the German Association of the Electrical and Electronics Industry ZVEI, looks back on an extremely successful event. “Our expectations have been surpassed once again. Increasing the floor space has proven a complete success and has further enriched the event. Clearly, ANGA Cable is the industry’s number one for cable, satellite and broadband in Europe.“
ANGA Cable 2012 will take place 22 to 24 May 2012, again in Cologne.
