GSMA announces new keynote speakers for Mobile World Congress 2015

Leaders from AT&T, China Mobile, Deutsche Telekom, Dialog Axiata, KT, Orange, Telefónica and Vodafone to take the stage in Barcelona
The GSMA announced that more than a dozen CEOs and executives from across the mobile ecosystem as well as adjacent industry sectors have been added to the keynote programme at the 2015 GSMA Mobile World Congress. The GSMA also provided further updates on the event, including new programmes, partners, sponsors and more. Mobile World Congress will be held 2-5 March at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona.
“As always, Mobile World Congress will highlight the latest innovations in mobile, in the conference, across the exhibition, through our partner programmes and at the many events and meetings taking place over the four days,” said Michael O’Hara, Chief Marketing Officer, GSMA. “The 2015 Congress is set to be the most exciting yet and we’re looking forward to welcoming the mobile world to Barcelona in just over a month.”
New Keynote Speakers at Mobile World Congress
The GSMA has confirmed several additional keynote speakers for the Mobile World Congress conference programme, including the leaders of mobile operators from around the world. New keynote speakers include:

Partner Programmes at Mobile World Congress
Several additional companies have confirmed their participation across a range of partner programmes at Mobile World Congress. Twitter will hold a number of educational sessions targeting developers and marketers as part of its partner event. Fujitsu, Gamelab Mobile, Good Technology and PublicVine are also confirmed to host partner events, while HP will hold an app developer conference and European GNSS Agency and OpenDayLight will participate in the Power Hour sessions. Mobile World Congress Technology Training Partner Award Solutions will offer multi-session training courses focusing on “VoLTE Deconstructed” and “The Ultimate Guide to Network Transformation.”
Over three days, 4 Years From Now (4YFN), an event of Mobile World Capital and the GSMA, will bring together startups and entrepreneurs for inspiring talks and interactive workshops, alongside a cutting-edge exhibition and unique networking opportunities. Each day of the 4YFN programme focuses on a specific topic, with Day 1 centering on the theme of “Disrupted by Mobile”, Day 2 on “The Internet of Things” and Day 3 on “Digital Media”. The event will feature over 150 speakers including such industry leaders as John Malloy, Co-Founder and General Partner, BlueRun Ventures; Martin Varsavsky, CEO, FON; Weili Dai, President and Co-Founder, Marvell Technology Group; Stéphanie Hospital, Founder, One Ragtime; and Mike Butcher, Editor At Large, TechCrunch.
Introducing MMIX at Mobile World Congress
Reflecting the explosive growth of music on mobile, the GSMA is launching MMIX at Mobile World Congress, with an official event party on Tuesday 3rd March, as well as a new music-based forum as part of the 4YFN programme at Fira Montjuïc on Wednesday 4th March. The MMIX party line-up includes platinum-selling artist Rudimental headlining with a DJ set on Tuesday evening, with further artists to be announced.
Enhancing the Attendee Experience with the My MWC Event App
The GSMA continues to develop the My MWC Event App to provide even greater functionality and convenience for attendees. In addition to core elements such as event registration, exhibitor listing, event agenda, speakers, mapping and networking, the latest edition of the app delivers a new interface and features including the NFC Badge, Digital Badge, enhanced networking options, among others. The app will be released in two phases before Mobile World Congress.
