Date: Mon, 04/13/2015 - 12:51
Showcase is the centerpiece of the premier networking event focused on dynamic connectivity services powered by CE 2.0, LSO, SDN, and NFV
The MEF announced that the Call for Proposals for the upcoming Proof of Concept Showcase at GEN15 (www.gen15.com) is now open. The Proof of Concept Showcase provides a unique opportunity for service providers and network technology suppliers to spotlight innovations that will shape the future of global networking and fuel productivity gains for service providers and end-users. The industry-wide GEN15 conference will be held on 16 - 19 November 2015 at the Omni Hotel in Dallas, Texas.
“Last year’s PoC Showcase was a conference highlight with demonstrations of leading-edge implementations of dynamic, cloud-centric Carrier Ethernet services with SDN, NFV, automated provisioning, service orchestration, and other innovations,” said Nan Chen, President of MEF. “At GEN15, we look to build upon this success and take industry innovation to the next level by demonstrating the MEF’s Third Network and LSO (Lifecycle Service Orchestration) vision in relation to SDN and NFV. We’ve expanded the number of demonstrations for GEN15 to accommodate more participants and the growing interest.”
The Call for Proposals is now available on the GEN15 event website. Submissions close on 15 June. A select number of participating organizations will be announced in mid-July. The MEF encourages a team approach with service providers and network solution providers coming together to spotlight benefits of industry collaboration.
