Amazon, CERN, GE, Intel and IBM to keynote at the Internet of Things Solutions World Congress

The three-day conference program of the first edition of the Internet of Things Solutions World Congress (IOTSWC) features top experts and key companies and institutions working on the industrial internet among which are Accenture, Amazon, Bosch, CERN, Deloitte, GE, HP, Indra, Intel and IBM. The newly launched event has established a partnership with the Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC), the sector's leading association, who has advised Fira de Barcelona in the design of the conference program.
The comprehensive conference program is structured in six areas – Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics, Healthcare, Energy and Utilities, Technology, and Innovation– and will feature eleven keynotes among whichIoT for Life by Jonathan Ballon, Vice President & General Manager at Intel Corporation - Internet of Things Group; Controlling robots From the Cloud: Amazon Warehouses as Networks of Things by Joey Durham, Manager of Research and Advanced Development at Amazon Robotics; ; The IoT and the New Economics of creating and capturing value by Michel Raynor, Director at Deloitte Services LP; and Bridging the digital divide: How the Internet of Things can transform the Global Economy, by Sath Rao, Vice President a Frost & Sullivan.
Other keynotes speaker include Chris O'Connor, General Manager of Internet of Things at IBM; Colin Parris, Vice President at General Electric; Luis Granado Cardoso, researcher at CERN; Ben Salama Managing Director of Mobility at Accenture; Steve Teixeira, Microsoft's director of program management for IoT in the Operating Systems Group; and Corey Clothier, Robotics consultant at Local Motors.
