e-Estonia - the Digital Society

Estonia is the most advanced e-society in the World. The country’s successful implementation of e-Cabinet, e-Tax Board, e-Customs, e-Registers and i-Voting systems has revolutionised accessibility and quality of Government services for its citizens
On March 2nd, 3rd and 4th AT 3pm the very first robot football and sumo matches will be held on e-Estonian territory at MWC, where one can see the show, meet Estonian innovators and make a bet on the winning robot

All of these possibilities will be introduced by Estonia at the Mobile World Congress 2015, to be held in Barcelona. The attendance of Estonian companies at the fair is supported by Enterprise Estonia via the European Regional Development Fund.
Estonia is a small nation of just 1,3M, but has emerged as one of the most advanced e-societies in the world. As an example, Estonia is the first country in the world to launch i-voting, e-taxation and e-Residency.
Thirteen different companies will be demonstrating Estonia’s modern technological solutions and openness for testing new solutions, at the joint stand, from March 2-5. Estonian Pavilion is located in App Planet hall 8.1, stand No. 8.1K31.
Estonia’s display involves companies offering software development as well as IT services: DigiFlak, AgileWorks, Nutiteq, Yoga, Fortumo, Greenhouse, Ecofleet, SK, Vispel, Mooncascade, EMT and ELION, Reach-U and SignWise. In addition, Estonians are represented in the conference program of MWC. On March 4th 9.45-10.00am at Keynote 5 session at Hall 4 Auditorium 1 Mr. Taavi Kotka, Estonian Government CIO will give a speech “Estonia, where stuff happens first”.
