Worldwide momentum as leading provider of infrastructure control solutions fuels achievement
Infoblox named one of Silicon Valley's fastest growing companies Steve Nye, Infoblox Executive Vice President of Product Strategy and Corporate Development

Infoblox, the market leading developer of advanced network infrastructure control solutions, announced it has been ranked as one of Silicon Valley’s fastest growing companies by the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal in its “Fast Private” list, a ranking of private companies in the Silicon Valley based on percent revenue growth from 2007 to 2009. Infoblox ranked seventh among networking companies in the list.
The “Fast Private” is the latest in a series of market leadership recognitions for Infoblox ranging from Infoblox receiving the highest rating, “Strong Positive”, in Gartner’s 2009 MarketScope for DNS, DHCP and IP Address Management (DDI) products to Infoblox’s notable placement on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing private companies.
Infoblox’s achievements have been fueled by enterprises'—including 200 of the Global 500—rapid adoption worldwide of Infoblox solutions that are designed to provide more visibility, control and automation across network infrastructures.
For many organizations, lack of automation is becoming a major barrier to network expansion and the broad adoption of initiatives like virtualization and cloud computing. Before virtualization, networks remained fairly static. This is compounded by the explosion of IP addresses, significantly increasing the need for detailed information and visibility of the physical and virtual environments.
Infoblox’s unique offering provides the automation, visibility and control over many traditionally manual IT tasks and procedures, ultimately helping increase business uptime, reduce cost and increase IT efficiency.
Steve Nye, Infoblox Executive Vice President of Product Strategy and Corporate Development, commented: “We are honored to be recognized by the San Jose Business Journal, but we owe our growth to the enterprise customers who recognize that new initiatives like virtualization and cloud computing require more real-time, dynamic and automated network infrastructure services. Infoblox is committed to helping organizations manage the challenges associated with these systems and services by continuing to deliver enterprise-class network infrastructure control solutions.”
The Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal's “Fast Private” list, published as a special supplement in the publication’s October 15, 2010 issue, highlights Infoblox’s ranking as the thirtieth fastest growing company among the other contenders from consulting and database to biotech companies, and was announced at a private awards dinner held on October 14, 2010 in Mountain View, Calif., at the Computer History Museum.
