FinnMob and Israel Mobile and Communications Association form alliance

FinnMob (Finnish Mobile Association) announced an alliance with Israel Mobile and Communications Association (IMA) to jointly promote their portfolio companies, assuring faster access by global operators, handset and network vendors, and investors to the best mobile products developed in Finland and Israel
Drawing on their strengths as centers of innovation for mobile technology, they will provide operators, vendors, and investors a reliable source for innovative, quality tested solutions, ready to market.
“We are very excited about the synergies offered by this alliance,” said Ismo Rantala, FinnMob’s managing director. “We have been using mobile services for over 25 years in Finland, and we have gained valuable insights to what consumers want. The research and development teams of our portfolio companies have these insights ingrained in them.”
FinnMob and IMA both serve as business generators to global operators and vendors. They connect these mobile market players to companies with validated creative solutions, enabling operators and vendors to launch new offerings faster and with lower risk. At the same time, they assist Finnish and Israeli mobile companies grow successfully, by facilitating access to strategic alliances and networks, and by providing global marketing support.
The alliance will present their portfolio companies at the major mobile industry events, starting at the Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona, Spain.
