Salvo Global announced that it is organizing a public workshop for telecoms pricing professionals in South Africa for both fixed and mobile services. The workshop scheduled for 8 and 9 June 2009 in South Africa will enable pricing professionals to more fully understand the evolving pricing industry structure, how it is changing, its survival or growth, revenue/cash generation, profit generation, return on investment, network utilization, market skimming, penetration and stabilization, customer loyalty, differentiation, shareholder value.
The workshop which is organised by Salvo Global based in Singapore will see an audience from leading African and Middle East telecoms providers and regulators.
Pricing professionals who attend the course are provided with an overview on the defining the role of price models and levels within an overall commercial strategy; preparing price setting and marketing to withstand competitive activity without needing to change plans, maximizing revenue, evaluating the effectiveness of different pricing techniques to achieve different aims: per unit, bundles, flat rate, free and more, exploiting revenue potential of converged and next-generation services.
