BT and Heineken partner to offer Wi-Fi to London pubs

Drinkers at nearly 100 London pubs and bars are to get fast Wi-Fi, following a new BT and Heineken partnership with plans to extend the wireless internet service to a further 200 pubs across the UK by the end of 2012

AT&T names Ericsson as key supplier for future Wireline Business

Ericsson announced it has been selected as one of two suppliers for AT&T's Wireline Access products and services.  The deal is a breakthrough win for Ericsson's wireline business in North America.  Ericsson will be eligible to provide full system solutions within AT&T's wireline access network, significantly accelerating AT&T's ability to bring new broadband-based products and services to market

2014: carriers embrace the Wi-Fi opportunity
